hi guyz and galz

need a bit of help

last night i was on a mission every thing was going fine until my mouse stopped working sort of.what i mean is i can activate spells hilight players zoom in and out of my map and so on but i can not fight,when i select a target i can get to the target but i just seem to stand there

when i click my left mouse button nothing happens.

i have replaced the battries in the mouse and i have also changed the mouse still i can't fight i just end up dead

has anyone come across this kind of problem,if so what can i do to fix it???

tyros doom is in need of your help and so am i

As a work around till someone can help you fix the problem - have you tried using your spacebar? Thats the "default action" key. This means if you have an enemy selected, the default actuion is to attack.. thus if you select a critter & then press spacebar you should attack.

also note that you can only attack if you have a weapon equiped. If your character doesn't have a weapon equiped then you will just stand there doing nothing. So you should also check the weapon set you have active at the moment and make sure you have a weapon equiped.

Sometimes i have those porbs too. Only if i mouse fast my mouse, i hear the "plugin" noise form my OS, and my cursor disappear.

Only thing i hate in this Game.

sounds like your actions have been removed. Have you tried going into Key Configuration and checking to make sure that spacebar and left click are still binded to action?

The reason it's doing that is the same reason I'm getting it - it's nothing to do with your comp or any batteries or anything, it's lag associated with the game that a lot of people are currently experiencing. None of the buttons or anything will work at all while you're experiencing it, your only options are to either wait for it to solve itself, or quit the game and restart, in my experience anyway.

sorted i had inadvertantly messed up the configuration

Yup. Hopefully Anet will hear our problem and fix it soon.
